HOLIDAY BURST ORDER INFO, 2014

 

HOW TO ORDER:

**** Email Lynn at firecrackerbakery@gmail.com with the following information****

1. Please make subject of email, 'Christmas Order'
2. Amount of Bursts and/or platters and what date you would like to pick up each item.
    DATES AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP:
    DEC. 3 (W), 5 (F), 10 (W), 12 (F), 17 (W), 18 (TH)
    PICK UP BTWN 3:15 - 5:30
3. Color Option 1 or 2.
4. Platters will be available FROZEN and wrapped in freezer paper for pick up on Dec.17th and 18th.  Let me know if you would like your platter frozen, I'll leave it in my freezer until you arrive then you can transfer it to yours, making it easy to use for Dec.24th or 25th!  My last day of work for 2014 is Dec.18th!
5. Payment Method at pick-up (cash, check or credit card)
6. Your total price.
7. Your Name/Cell Phone Number.

I will email you back with confirmation of your order and my West Chester address for pick up.  I  live in the Beckett Ridge area.

In order to serve as many customers as possible I am ONLY selling these two options through the month of December.  If you would like cello bags of 6, please stop by Book Bums or Redtree Art Gallery and Coffee Shop!

Valentine's Day Order Information

ORDER A PLATTER OF 5 DOZEN BURSTS FOR YOUR SWEETHEART TODAY!


TWO OPTIONS:

1.Pick up platter in West Chester, Ohio on Feb.13th between 3:15-6:15.  Exact location will be given to you through email.

2.Request to have your platter sent to your sweetheart's doorstep!  All platters will be shipped USPS via priority mail, next day delivery in most of Ohio.  Other areas outside Ohio (within US) will be 2 day delivery.  All cookies will be mailed on the same day: Tuesday, Feb.11th.

PRICE:

1. Pick Up Platter in West Chester - $30.00
2. Platter + Shipping/Handling - $43.00

Transition for Firecracker!

If you are looking for Firecracker Bakery updates, please refer to my facebook page and "like it" to stay on top of my newest creations!

I believe a good business has ever-changing needs and it's important to continuously reassess processes and marketing strategies.  This blog had an enormously positive impact on my business and I have enjoyed writing here for the past 4 years.  It has been a fun informal way to build my credibility, build my brand, sell my product and express who I am.

In my last overview of my business, I have decided to make a change in how I market my business.  I'm always trying to grow with my business, making changes as I see fit to meet the needs of my customers and my family.

My business facebook page is up and running and will have more day to day information, along with photos of new cakes, cupcakes or cookies and allow for communication and comments.   

I'm keeping my blog open, not sure if I will return to blogging one day or leave it as a great memory.  For now, check out Firecracker on Facebook!

Engagement Cake...


 


Brittany and Chase we wish you the very best engagement and many happy years to come!  This cake is orange cream with orange cream cheese frosting.  The flower is a magnolia gumpaste flower sprayed with a hint of silver pearl edible air.  The gumpaste flower became non.edible when I added some light pink jewels to the center!  Brittany's colors are grey and blush, I couldn't resist adding a little bling in blush.  The sides of the cake were lightly sprayed with silver pearl as well.  Thanks so much for the order Mike and Christy!

Ivory and Champagne Wedding Cake

 

Thank you so much Mary for introducing me to your daughter-in-law Whitney!  What a pleasure it was planning this cake!  A few weeks ago I was at the gym when a sweet friend (Mary) told me her son Robby was getting married and needed a cake...in THREE WEEKS.  Wow, that was quick planning, I was thrilled I was able to do it.  Robby is heading to Afghanistan for 9 months and the happy couple decided to get married before he left.  Although it was short notice, how could I possibly turn down a cake for someone who is serving our country.  What a lovely couple, meeting the bride and her family was such a pleasure.  I feel so lucky to be a small part of such big fantastic celebrations!  .  Love my job!

Flavors... bottom tier is chocolate with buttercream frosting and top tier is white with strawberry filling and cream cheese frosting.  Two amazing flavors!

The border around the tiers is vanilla fondant with baby's breath under the top tier and fresh champagne roses provided by Oberer's Florist here in West Chester.  They are my preferred florist for any fresh flowers I need, I am always blown away by the beauty of their flowers and the absolute great service I receive!

Cookie Cakes...


 


Cookie cakes for Katelyn, 13, and Adam, 12.  So glad the cookie cakes were enjoyed, thanks so much for the order!

These cookie cakes are huge.  They are 16 inches!!  Absolutely delicious, lightly crisp on the outside with a soft moist center.  A big hit at parties!
